David Duggan Steps Down as Flashes' Defensive Coordinator

KENT- Kent State defensive coordinator David Duggan is stepping down, taking a highschool soccer head teaching place at Jackson Academy close to his household in Jackson, Mississippi.

“We need to thank Coach Duggan for his contributions and dedication to our program over the previous yr,” head coach Kenni Burns stated. “We commend his determination and want to maneuver nearer to household and he’ll all the time be a member of our Kent GRIT household.”

Duggan joined the Kent GRIT household in January 2023 as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.  He guided defensive lineman CJ West to All-Convention honors whereas Bryce Sheppert was among the many convention leaders in passes defended and whole tackles.
