I’M METEOROLOGIST LINDSAY SLATER. WE ARE TRACKING ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING. YOU CAN SEE IT’S BECAUSE OF THIS CELL RIGHT HERE THAT CONTINUES TO PUSH ITS WAY TOWARDS THE EAST. ACTUALLY MOVING A LITTLE BIT SLOW RIGHT NOW I’M GOING TO PUT THIS FORWARD IN MOTION. BUT THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR WAUKESHA COUNTY. YOU CAN SEE IT RIGHT HERE. SO THE MAIN HAZARDS HERE ARE GOING TO BE GUSTY WINDS LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. THAT COULD GIVE US SOME ISSUES WITH SOME FLOODING. THERE’S A LOT OF LIGHTNING HERE AS WELL. SO IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE DRIVING IT MIGHT BE ONE OF THOSE CASES WHERE YOU NEED TO PULL OVER AND WAIT FOR IT TO PASS. SO THIS WARNING AGAIN IS GOING TO BE IN EFFECT AGAIN UNTIL ABOUT 145. THAT’S WHAT I’M WATCHING RIGHT NOW. THE LATEST AGAIN, WE DO HAVE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH. THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS GOING TO BE IN EFFECT UNTIL ABOUT 6 P.M. THIS EVENING. BUT THIS IS OUR BRAND NEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING RIGHT NOW. IT’S IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS. ACTUALLY ALL OF WAUKESHA COUNTY ALL THE WAY UP THROUGH PEWAUKEE INTO WALES, GENESEE VERNON MUSKEGON. THIS WHOLE THING IS PUSHING ITS WAY TOWARDS THE EAST, ABOUT 35 MILES AN HOUR. NOW, ANY OF THE REPORTS THAT WE HAVE SEEN, I’VE SEEN GUSTS UP TO 35 MILES AN HOUR FROM THIS CELL EARLIER TODAY. OTHERWISE, I AM LOOKING AT LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT WILL BE PASSING ITS WAY INTO WAUKESHA COUNTY. AND WE STILL DO HAVE THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH THAT IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6:00 AND WILL BREAK
