See Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega in ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Trailer

It’s showtime! In an official trailer of Tim Burton‘s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice launched Thursday, Michael Keaton returns because the undead bogeyman in a sequel to the 1988 movie. Winona Ryder (Stranger Issues, Little Ladies) and Catherine O’Hara (Schitt‘s Creek, Corpse Bride) reprise their roles as Lydia Deetz and Delia Deetz, respectively, with Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) starring as Lydia’s rebellious daughter, Astrid.

When three generations of the Deetz household return dwelling to Winter River, following a household tragedy, Lydia (Ryder) stays haunted by Beetlejuice’s manic aura. Quickly Lydia’s teenage daughter, Astrid (Ortega), uncovers a mannequin of the spooked city upstairs, and a portal to the afterlife opens. Unsurprisingly, one resident says Beetlejuice’s dreadful title thrice and unleashes the crazed demon. Within the two-minute trailer, as Lydia recollects Beetlejuice’s terrifying reign and his makes an attempt to marry her, Astrid dismisses her woes and sarcastically calls his title.

“The Juice is Unfastened,” Beetlejuice says later within the trailer.

The 1988 comedy horror, regardless of harsh evaluations, grossed $32 million in its first two weeks, and Burton informed Rolling Stone across the first launch that the unhealthy press made him extra excited for film followers, like himself to see it.
