Georgina Rodríguez Flashes Engagement Ring from Cristiano Ronaldo in Venice

Georgina Rodríguez is making a dazzling statement with her massive engagement ring from Cristiano Ronaldo at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival.

The 31-year-old Argentinian model walked the red carpet at the event in Venice, Italy, on Sunday, Aug. 31, marking her first official appearance since she and the 40-year-old soccer star confirmed their engagement earlier this month.

For the occasion, Rodríguez went full glam in a custom Roberto Cavalli lace gown. The black-and-white dress featured an oversize pattern and thin straps. She paired it with diamond-encrusted jewelry, including a large necklace and several statement rings.

Her engagement ring, which some experts believe to be worth as much as 37 carats with the oval-cut diamond weighing in at 35 carats alone, took center stage from its special spot on that finger.

Rodríguez posed to emphasize her newly acquired jewels on the red carpet, holding her hands up to her face with a coy smile for photographers.

The bride-to-be was also photographed outside Hotel Excelsior wearing the same rings on her hands. However, she paired them with a chic black, short-sleeved turtleneck and a knee-length lace skirt. Rodríguez accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses and wore black heels.

Her trip to Venice comes just a few weeks after she and Ronaldo confirmed that they were headed down the aisle via an Aug. 11 post on Instagram.

“Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” she wrote in a translated caption.

Rodríguez’s post showed her modeling the ring, providing an up-close look at the massive diamond. In the photo, she rested her hand on top of Ronaldo’s.

The couple dated for eight years before the soccer pro popped the question. They share five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, daughter Alana, 7, daughter Bella, 3, and 15-year-old son Cristiano Jr., whom Ronaldo welcomed in a previous relationship.

They also weathered the death of Bella’s newborn twin brother, which the parents previously announced in April 2022.

Before announcing their engagement, Ronaldo sparked rumors that he and his longtime love were already married after referring to her as his “wife” in July in a video for the fitness brand Whoop.

“I can push her and she can push me too,” he said about working out with his partner in the video, which featured a tour of his home gym.

Neither Rodríguez nor Ronaldo have commented on her engagement ring yet. However, some jewelry experts are hypothesizing that the ring carried a hefty $5 million price tag.

Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds said that the “extraordinary” ring “could easily exceed around $2 million” based on the quality of the “color range” and “flawless or near-flawless clarity.”
